Welcome Marie-Louise Rigdal, new CCO at Netset!

Netset’s new Chief Commercial Officer, Marie-Louise Rigdal, is no stranger to ambitious goals—both in business and in her personal life. Known as an "IronWoman" for her competitive spirit in IronMan events, Marie-Louise brings the same resilience and determination to her role at Netset. With a strong background in sales, marketing, and change management, she's ready to drive Netset’s commercial journey forward. Get to know her a bit better here!

Marie-Louise, tell us a bit about yourself.

"I live in Stockholm with my partner Peter and two grown stepchildren who have flown the nest. I come from an engineering background and studied at KTH. After graduation, I began working in R&D within the MedTech industry, followed by a focus on product management. My role at Handicare evolved to leading sales with a focus on business development. Shifting from a product focus to sales was incredibly exciting. I was responsible for building an international sales team and setting new goals to drive growth. I really enjoy working on change journeys, bringing people on board, and exploring the opportunities they bring, such as entering new markets or introducing new services!"

What attracted you to Netset?

"While working at TD SYNNEX as Digital Director for the Nordics, I knew about Netset, since there is a partnership between the companies, both of which operate in the IT and Telecom industries. Jens Rosberg reached out to me after he decided, after 25 years, to hand over the CEO position to Sam Aston. I realized that Netset was entering a new chapter, and I wanted to be part of their transformation journey with all the challenges and opportunities it would entail. I was also drawn to the idea of moving from a large company to a smaller one. In a smaller company, you are often involved in multiple parts of the business, which I really enjoy".

What is your role at Netset?

"As Chief Commercial Officer, I am responsible for sales and marketing at Netset. I lead the sales team and define marketing strategies and activities to increase our sales. Netset hasn’t previously focused much on marketing, but it's definitely a crucial way for us to reach new customers who aren’t yet familiar with our services, and to identify the right channels to do so. I hope my past experiences can help establish a structure and build a strong sales and marketing culture. Netset has achieved incredible growth in recent years, but now it’s time to establish sales processes and put structures in place so that we can continue to hire and grow. I am a very driven person, so I’ll make sure things happen—and, above all, that we focus on the right things to support our journey forward!"

Lastly, what do you enjoy doing after work?

"My free time is mostly dedicated to friends, family, and training. I grew up playing various sports like gymnastics and handball, but it wasn’t until I began my professional career that I started training for myself. I got into swimrun (which I still enjoy), and last year I sold my motorcycle and bought a time-trial bike—and really got hooked on triathlon. Contrary to what you might think, it’s actually a very social sport where you often train with others, and I love the community in both my running and triathlon clubs. It’s also really fun to set big goals with your training! This summer, I completed my first full-length Ironman, which was amazing! I even qualified for the Ironman World Championships in Hawaii next year, so that’s my next big goal."
